AstuteEdx — Your whole school, live in 3D

An interactive 3D school management platform — a live 3D campus, a School Builder, students, staff, face-recognition attendance, timetable, exams, fees, transport and a Kids World where students learn by playing.

AstuteEdx puts your entire school on one interactive 3D screen. Every building, classroom, bus and playground of your campus is live: classroom windows glow green, amber or red by today's attendance, buses move on their routes, and one click flies you inside any room to see the class at their desks.

Behind the 3D campus is complete school management — admissions, attendance (including face recognition), timetable, exams and report cards, fees, transport, notices, homework, library and inventory — for one school or a group of campuses from a single account.

Students get Kids World: they log in with a class code and picture password, create an avatar, walk around their own school in 3D and play learning games to earn stars and badges.

Set up your school in ten minutes

2. The onboarding wizard asks for your school name, board, sessions and grades, then builds a starter 3D campus for you.
3. Open the School Builder to shape the campus: add buildings and floors, draw classrooms and labs, place courts, bus bays and gardens, and link each room to a class.
4. Add classes and subjects, then import or add students and staff.
5. Invite teachers and office staff with the right role. Share the Kids World school code with your students.

Try the demo first

Choose Take the virtual tour on the AstuteEdx home page. You enter Sunrise Education Group — two demo campuses where a school day is simulated (attendance, staff check-ins and bus trips). The demo is read-only, so explore freely.

The live 3D campus

• The campus home shows every building and room. Window colours show today's attendance: green good, amber low, red not marked.
• Click a room to fly inside and see the class. Search (or ask the assistant) to fly to any room, class or bus.
• KPI cards (students present, fees due, buses on route…) can be dragged, hidden from Customize and saved as named layouts.

Attendance and face recognition

• Mark attendance per class or per period, or open the Face kiosk: enrol each student's face once, then students are marked present (or late) as soon as the camera recognises them. Staff are checked in the same way.
• Face matching runs in the browser; only a numeric face descriptor is stored, not photos.
• Parents can be notified about absences.

Academics, fees and transport

• Timetable with clash detection (automatic timetable on Pro), exams with marks entry, report cards and analytics.
• Fees: fee heads, invoices, receipts, online payments and automatic reminders.
• Transport: routes, stops and buses, with live bus tracking on the 3D map.
• Notices, homework, library and inventory round off daily operations.

Kids World

• Students sign in at /play with the school code, their class and a picture password — no e-mail needed.
• They create an avatar, walk around their own 3D school and enter classrooms to play learning games.
• Homework appears as quests; correct answers earn stars and badges. Teachers can run a live class and generate AI quizzes (Pro).

Multi-branch schools

One account can run several campuses (branches). Switch branches from the chip in the top bar and compare attendance, fees and enrolment on the Branches overview. The Free plan includes one branch; Pro is unlimited.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan covers one school campus with up to 100 students and 5 staff, two buildings in the 3D builder, three Kids World rooms and the attendance, fees and exams basics. New schools also get a 14-day Pro trial.

Does it need a powerful computer?

No. AstuteEdx adjusts 3D quality automatically and falls back to a 2D view on older devices. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Android tablets and phones.

Is student data safe?

Every school's data is isolated per account, access is role-based, and face recognition stores only numeric descriptors, never photos. The platform is protected by our AttackShield security layer.

Can we use our own branding?

Yes — Pro schools can add their own logo and colours (white-label), and share a public virtual tour of their campus with prospective parents.
